Get to Know Dr. Chatham

Dr. Donn R. Chatham is a facial plastic surgeon and has offices in Louisville, Kentucky and New Albany, Indiana, just minutes away over the Ohio River. A native of Kentucky, Dr. Chatham received his undergraduate education from Georgetown College, graduating cum laude in 1971 with a major in psychology and minors in art and biology.

His initial medical training was at the University of Louisville School of Medicine graduating in 1978. After an internship and year of general surgery at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN, he entered into a residency in otolaryngology-head & neck surgery at the University of Tennessee, completing this in 1983.

He began a fellowship in facial plastic surgery with Dr Gaylon McCollough, and through the American Academy of Facial Plastic &Reconstructive Surgery, completing this in 1985. Dr Chatham later was elected president of the AAFPRS and served as president in 2008-09.

Dr. Chatham then returned to his home in Kentucky in 1985, beginning private practice with offices in Louisville and southern Indiana.

We are located directly across the street from Floyd Memorial Hospital in the Professional Arts building (1919 State St) on the first floor. Coming from Louisville, get on I-64, follow this across the river. Immediately after crossing the river, take the first exit, then merge into left lane. At the second light, turn left on State St. Proceed about 1.5 miles, and you will see the hospital on right. Turn left into the small side street once you see the 3-story Professional Arts Building (Our office is right on ground level corner of main building). Proceed to first floor at about center of building complex. If already in Indiana, from I-265, take the State St exit, head south about 2 miles, and look for hospital on left and our building on right.

We are located across from Baptist East Hospital in the building with the GREEN stripe (4001 Baptist East Office Park). Address is 4001 Kresge Way, suite 310. Kresge Way is just off of Breckenridge Lane. Coming from I-64, exit at Breckenridge Lane, head west towards the city (the Dupont area). At the 3rd light, look for Kresge Way on the right and turn here. Baptist Hospital will be on the right and our building will be on the left. Take elevator to 3rd floor. Free parking.
